A Charger for owners of many large & expensive R/C airplanes!

The Ultimate Charger II is housed in an all metal custom made case.

The bottom pan has been painted with a baked on red powdercoat finish.

Charges, Trickle Charges, and Cycles 4, 5, 6, & 8 cell Nickel-Cadmium, Nickel-Metal Hydride and Lithium Metal packs from 300 mah to 3000 mah capacity.

 

 

128 by 64 dot Graphic LCD can show all channels at once (168 characters). Each channel displays current voltage, capacity measured the last time it was cycled, how long it has been on the function, and what function it is currently on. Each channel is a separate batttery pack.

When a battery is unplugged (as channel 6 is) the Ultimate Charger II displays how long it has been since this channel has been cycled.

 

User can also set display mode to large, showing a single channel, readable from a distance. The display will either lock on a single channel or can be set to rotate through the 8 channels. The charging process is unaffected by how the display is set.

 

 

 

Checks dynamic performance of receiver batteries and fieldbox battery, and starter, graphically displaying the dynamic voltage curves. Curves can be sent to an attached PC with optional $20 software for precise record keeping.

 

 

 

4 pushbuttons lets the user "configure" his charger to his exact situation. A non-volatile memory chip saves the user's customized configuration.

 

Front panel display the programming codes and the runtime codes.

 

Constantly checks the packs and gives an audible health analysis when a battery pack is disconnected. Tone beeper at left makes the audible analysis sound.

 

Special Float test checks for weak batteries & batteries about to short.

Uses 117 vac or 12v. Great for home or trailer use. It can run by plugging it into a car's cigarette lighter, the 12 volt field box battery , or the 117 vac house voltage.
