This piece of SSTV equipment was inspired by a schematic received from W0LMD suggesting that I try and build such a unit. I did, and it works as expected. The crt is a little 3 inch P-4 tube. I connect it to the audio output from my HF transceiver and use it as a tuning aid and also to see if the received signal is properly adjusted for a full spectrum SSTV signal.

The unit is housed in a surplus aircraft radio case. Sync pulses appear on the left end of the scan line then next is the video signal running from mid center ( black video frequency) over to the far right side of the scope's horizontal scan line ( white video frequency).
