K7YZZ Magnetic Deflection P7 SSTV Monitor

I (K7YZZ) started out with a SSTV monitor home built with a 5 inch P-7 tube. W7SAB gave me a 7 inch P-7 crt so I figured I would see if I could use it to build a larger SSTV montor. The cabinet was bought from Heathkit and was used to house their HFpower amplifier. At this time I do not remember where the diagram for the unit came from. My records show I never wrote a magazine article on this machine. It uses several home made point to point wired circuit boards. Has a flashing LED tuning indicator to aid in getting the SSTV signal from the HF receiver adjusted properly. A piece of amber plastic was fitted over the CRT face to improve the viewing of the incoming picture.  

It still works after all this time as I used it recently during a demo at a ham club.
