I have been asked by my R/C club, JEFCO AEROMOD'LERS to make one of my new Vertical Axis Wind Turbines (VAWT), a Solar Tracking Mount for PhotoVoltaic Panels, and 12 volt Storage Battery Charger & 117 VAC supply for use at our R/C Field South of Denver. Like most R/C fields, there are no AC lines at the field, and it is in a wide open field which normally has a good amount of wind.

It will be designed for automatically maintaining our Buddy Box Transmitters, Trainer Airplanes, and Contest PA system. It will constantly provide 117 VAC and Low Voltages for field repairs and lighting, and charging Electric Planes and Helicopters.

It looks like about a $3000 to $4000 system, which is less than it would cost to connect the field to the Power Grid.

I hope to have this operational in mid June, 2008 for the start of our contest season. I think this may be the first "Full Service" Green R/C Field!

It will described later on this web page.
